The “West Coast Institute of Management & Technology (WCIMT)” was established in 1996 at Perth by a Christian family” S. Lloyd Family Trust” to provide vocational and Professional Education Service at National & International Levels under a Christian mission and vision of preaching, teching and social works. It was Autonomous Educational Institute and Vocatinal Trining School. The institute was registered and accredited training institution, accredited by the Training Accreditation Council (TAC) of the Training Department of the Government of Western Australia and is listed on the “Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses (CRICOS)”, which provide accredited courses to local and overseas students up to Graduate Diploma Level. WCIMT established a chain of affiliated colleges in many countries. In 2004, the trustees decided to use this infrastructure to establish the West Coast University Panama, Belize, State of Delaware International. Although based in Panama but it serves as global institute for autonomous higher education.
With the help of Prof. Dr. S. Lloyd in collaboration with WCIMT, Parth, Australia, member of AMDA Research Foundation have established WCIMT -BD. LTD. in 2011 at Dhaka, Bangladesh under the Ministry of Commerce as professional institute to Boost Technical education among expatriate technocrats of different categories. Main objective of which are mainly two folded. First of all upgrading their know-how, increase earning so that they can earn more and help back homeland more and secondly by having upper level education they can consolidate their job status in upper sphere thereby be rewarded as a technical professional.
It must be mentioned here that WCIMT BD. LTD also in working with foreign university in exchange programmes of high standard in order to put our student’s performance on international level.

IEB & UGC Equivalent Programmes : Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical & Civil) degrees are offered under WCU. But students many register for Engineering programmes of IEB namely sections A & B and upon passing examinations of both sections A & B conducted by IEB, equvalency of same certification from UGC can be obtained. It is to be noted here that WCU graduates are always qualified for professional positioins in Engineering firms / organizations nationally and internationally.
