Messages from Chairman WCIMT

We are delighted to announce that West Coast Institute of Management & Technology (WCIMT), Bangladesh has been signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Open University Malaysia (OUM). WCIMT will act as an affiliated Learning Centre of OUM in Bangladesh. Degrees of OUM are recognized and reputed worldwide. It is also the Award Winning University.
Their programmes cover a wide range of disciplines and all are accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). Many of the programmes are also offered by international universities to their students.
At present we offer Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) & Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) for the Bangladeshi students.
OUM practices a combine pedagogy which comprises self-managed learning, face-to-face tutorials and online learning.

1. Self-managed learning gives the freedom for you to learn at your own pace, with the help of learning materials in the form of printed modules or text books or may include electronic content accessible through the OUM portal and CD-ROM.
2. Face-to-face tutorials/seminars or face-to-face sessions are provided where learners and tutors meet regularly at a common venue (learning centre) and at scheduled times.
3. The online forums between learners are monitored by e-Tutors. These online forums are open and accessible 24 hours, 7 days a week.

By this agreement, the door of higher learning has opened for the Bangladeshi nationals, especially who works and study.
